Can InstallShield in AdminStudio be integrated with VisualStudio?
Yes!
AdminStudio is a suite of powerful tools and one such tool is InstallShield. InstallShield is also referred as Editor within AdminStudio.
InstallShield within AdminStudio integrates very well with Microsoft Visual Studio. This integration enables you to create, modify, or build your installation from within Visual Studio. The only pre-requisite for this integration to work seamlessly is that AdminStudio (with InstallShield) and Visual Studio must be installed on the same machine and the order of installation being – first Visual Studio and then AdminStudio.
In case InstallShield projects are not listed in Visual Studio, then uninstalling and then installing AdminStudio should fix this issue.
