In some cases, only a subset of machines may return an IP address during inventory scans performed by the Columbus Inventory Agent.
To ensure the Columbus Inventory Agent consistently reports IP addresses, verify that the required registry key is correctly configured:
- Open Registry Editor.
- Navigate to the following path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\BrainWare\Columbus\7\InvAgent\Config
- Locate the InvNetwork key.
- Set the value of InvNetwork to
1.

After setting InvNetwork to 1, the IP address for all machines scanned by the Columbus Inventory Agent will be reported consistently.
