When attempting to log in to Flexera One using Single Sign-On (SSO) with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory), users may encounter the following error message:
"Your administrator has configured the application Flexera One to block users unless they are specifically granted ('assigned') access to the application. The signed-in user is blocked because they are not a direct member of a group with access, nor had access directly assigned by an administrator. Please contact your administrator to assign access to this application."
This error message is generated by Microsoft Entra ID. It means the user has not been explicitly assigned access to the Flexera One application within your SSO configuration. This issue is not caused by the Flexera One platform and cannot be resolved by Flexera.
To resolve this issue, contact your internal SSO or Microsoft Entra ID administrator and share the error message. They will need to do one of the following:
- Option 1: Configure the Enterprise Application for Flexera One to allow access to all users.
OR
- Option 2: Ensure the affected user is either:
- Directly assigned to the Flexera One application, or
- A member of a group that has been granted access to the application.
NOTE: No configuration changes are required within Flexera One to resolve this error. The issue must be addressed within your organization's identity provider settings.
Once access permissions in Microsoft Entra ID are updated to include the affected user or group, the user will be able to log in to Flexera One without encountering the error.
