Microsoft Subscription plans - Name change July 2023

Title

Previously Microsoft subscription plans included “for Departments” in their naming based on the information found on the Microsoft page [https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/enterprise-users/licensing-service-plan-reference].

However, in consultation with Snow customers, going forward the Data Intelligence Service (DIS) will remove "for Departments" from the existing subscription plan names. It is not referenced in other Microsoft pages and is not visible in the subscription names within the M365 portal.

The subscriptions that will be renamed through this change are listed below:
