Update your proxy settings for Software Vulnerability Manager On-premises

If your proxy settings have changed since the initial installation, or if you have added or removed a proxy, you can update these settings by executing the installationProcess.sh script. Follow the instructions below to update your proxy settings:

Instructions

IMPORTANT: Ensure to take a backup of the server before making any changes to the system.

  1. Access the installation directory
    • From the Software Vulnerability Manager On-Premises Server, navigate to the installation directory: cd /usr/local/Secunia/csi/install
  2. Run the installation script
    • Execute the installation script: ./installationProcess.sh
  3. Configuration prompt
    • When prompted with: Would you like to go through the configuration process where you can review/edit the settings? (Y/N) Select Y.
  1. Update proxy settings
    • Proceed through the installation process. When you reach the proxy settings section, insert the updated proxy details.
Outcome

Running the installationProcess.sh script will not affect the database. As long as the changes are accurate and meet your environment's requirements, the Software Vulnerability Manager configuration will be updated accordingly.
