In some cases, after migrating to a newer version of Code Insight, your scans can get stuck in the queue, staying in the "Scheduled" state. This issue occurs due to the environment cache not being cleared after the migration.
To resolve this issue, please follow the steps below:
- Shutdown the Tomcat server
- Clear the scheduler queue by executing the following SQL commandson the Code Insight database schema:
UPDATE PSE_SCHEDULER_QUEUES SET ACTIVE_TASK_ID_ = null;UPDATE PSE_SCHEDULER_TASKS set STATE_ = 'TERMINATED' WHERE STATE_ = 'ACTIVE' OR STATE_ = 'WAITING_ON_UPDATE' OR STATE_= 'WAITING_ON_LIBRARY_REFRESH' OR STATE_ = 'SCHEDULED';
- Restart the Tomcat server.
- Navigate to the Code Insight Web UI and Navigate to the Administration page
- Go to the Scan Servers Tab and select the edit button (pencil icon) found under the Actions column of your scan server
- In the Scan server settings pop up window, just click Save (do NOT make any changes to the settings)
This should clear the environment cache and allow the scans to be queued properly.
Scans should no longer get stuck and will proceed as normal.
