• The purpose of this document is to provide some information regarding common questions for Support regarding Snow Integration Manager.

What is Snow Integration Manager?

The Snow Integration Manager is an component of our product offering that allows customers to collect data from an wide array of 3rd party technologies and use that data in Snow Inventory/Snow License Manager for reporting and compliance purposes.

Environment / Where is it installed?

• The Snow Integration Manager is commonly installed on the Snow Inventory Application server but can be installed on any server that has access to the target source of the chosen, configured connectors.

How to run an manual aggregation? 

1. Open Snow Integration Manager.
2. Navigate to the Connector Options tab.
3. Click on the applicable Connector.
4. Select the Aggregate Selected Button.

Additional Notes

• Not all Snow Integration Manager Connectors generate files to be captured as stated above, so be aware of this point when carrying out this step. In some instances, a connector will use the Snow License Manager API to write directly into Snow License Manager Database.  Check with Support if you are unsure.
• Snow Integration Manager has no status bar to show the progress of the connector. The only indicators are that the Aggregated Selected button will turn a light blue and the Snow Integration Manager may show as 'Not Responding'.  Please don't close it and wait for it to process.
