After running the Snapshot Job to import data from IT Visibility into ServiceNow, you may notice that the import staging tables are successfully updated with hardware and software inventory. However, the Transform History may show that all data is ignored when attempting to update the native ServiceNow tables.
This issue typically occurs when only the Update Flexera Hardware Models and Lifecycles and Update Software Models and Lifecycles checkboxes are selected in the Flexera One import properties. Without enabling the corresponding Insert Flexera Hardware Models and Lifecycles and Insert Flexera Software Models and Lifecycles options, the transform maps will not process new records into the native tables.
To ensure data is properly inserted into the native tables:
- In ServiceNow, go to the Filter Navigator and search for Flexera One.
- Navigate to:
Flexera One > Import Configurations > Import Properties - Select Import Properties.
- Make the necessary changes to the property settings:
- Ensure Insert Flexera Hardware software Models and Lifecycles and
- Insert Flexera Software Models and Lifecycles are selected
- Select Save to apply your changes.
This configuration allows the transform maps to insert new records into the native tables, resolving the issue of ignored data in the Transform History.
