When you deploy the Kubernetes agent using a Helm chart, you may encounter the following error:
ERROR -- krm: exiting on error: config::bootstrap: mgsconfig command failed: exec: "mgsconfig": executable file not found in $PATHThis issue typically occurs when you deploy in an OpenShift cluster without enabling the required OpenShift extension. Because the extension is disabled, the deployment process cannot locate the mgsconfig executable, which causes the installation to fail.
Follow the steps below to enable the required setting and complete your deployment successfully.
- Open your Helm chart values.yaml file.
- Locate the
openShiftExtensionsconfiguration section.
If it does not exist, add it to the file.
- Set the enabled parameter to true:

- Save your changes, then redeploy the Helm chart.
After redeploying the Helm chart with openShiftExtensions.enabled set to true, the deployment process can locate the mgsconfig executable required for OpenShift environments.
