Can the FlexNet Inventory Agent be Installed on Unix-like operating systems by a non-root user?

Title

The FlexNet Inventory Agent is installed on Unix-like platforms using operating-system-level packaging tools, and must generally be installed by the root user. It is not possible to install the Agent package as a non-root user.

However it is possible for Agent processes to run as a non-root user. This is known as the "least privilege operation mode".
