Code is not displayed correctly in the FlexNet Code Insight Detector under Partial Matches

Summary

This article discusses the bug identified in SCA-4718 where the Partial Matches panel in the Detector Client does not render all lines of code correctly

Symptoms

After updating to FlexNet Code Insight 6.12.0 we have the following problem:

In the Partial Matches panel in the Detector Client there is an offset in the display of the line numbers and the displayed code. From this it is not possible to see the whole code. A part is always cut off which is not visible.

Resolution

In the Detector Client for FlexNet Code Insight 6.12.0, the Partial Matches tab did not contain any way for code that exceeded the horizontal limits of the Detector window to extend beyond the window edges. This resulted in code being wrapped to the next line of the window. As the total number of lines was not updated this resulted in some of the text being inaccessible at the end of the file. A horizontal scoll bar has been added to the detector client in FlexNet Code Insight 6.12.1 to rectify this bug. This bug can be tracked through reference SCA-4718
