This article documents the bug observed in SCA-2572

Symptoms

The createOrUpdateUser() API is not able to update users in FlexNet Code Insight 6.11.2-HF2. The API can be used to successfully create a user but cannot be used to modify a user once they have been created. Further attempts to modify the user using the following API's have also been unsuccessful and are also being considered as part of this bug:

setFirstName()
setMiddleName()
setLastName()
setEmail()
setJobTitle()
setTelephone()
setFax()
setLocation()
setBusinessUnit()
setQuestion()
setAnswer()

Resolution

This issue has been quantified as a bug by our Engineering team. This bug can be tracked through reference SCA-2572.
