Problem

When attempting to run Data Access API reports via the Swagger UI at "https://<SiteID>.flexnetoperations.com/data/swagger-ui.html", users may encounter the following error after clicking Try it out on the endpoint ../api/v1/report/{group}. This issue occurs when authorization is attempted using a Base64-encoded string (userid:password).

Error Message:

The user can login successfully into Producer Portal using the same user ID and password.

Diagnosis

After authorizing, review the generated Curl command in the Swagger UI to confirm that the Authorization header includes the Basic keyword. This ensures that the credentials are being passed correctly in the request.

Solution

Ensure that the Authorization header follows the correct format, as shown in the following screenshot. Specifically, the word Basic must precede the Base64-encoded string.
