Scenario:
customer is receiving a delivery of certain asset types from SCCM, for example Server, Cluster or tablets, but does not want to administer these in Spider.
Answer:
Use the Spider Admin Tool (Spider Core - Spider Asset Config) to exclude these asset types
remove entries in the ‘Value’ column, as highlighted in red below
Caveat:
- be aware of servers which may require have a server-client relation
- possible side effects in license compliance
- some virtual clients receive a license from their host
