Summary
Flex Log Files Produced After Each Checkout
Synopsis
Whenever the product checks out a license a size-zero log file namedflex.log is produced, where is some integer. They appear indirectories scattered through the system. What is causing these files tobe created?
Discussion
This is the normal behavior when FLEXLM_DIAGNOSTICS environment variable is turned on. The n number from flex.log is actually the process id of the application.
