How do I screen out the virtual network adapters when I am calling lc_hostid() so that I am only returning the physical network addresses of a machine?

Discussion

By default, lmhostid filters out the hostid of any device that it identifies as a virtual Ethernet adapter. However, if you make use of lc_hostid() within an application it does not identify virtual Ethernet adapters unless the LM_A_PHYSICAL_ETHERNETID field is set within the application that makes the lc_hostid() call.

Setting ls_allow_physical_ethernetid_only in lsvendor.c will customize the vendor daemon so that it only accepts physical Ethernet adapters to be used for authenticating a license.
