Summary 

This article will assist SVM customers with allowing the 'Flexera Corporate Software Inspector Daemon' to bypass the local proxy settings configured in Windows.

Steps 

• Launch Regedit.exe as administrator on the Server which has the 'Flexera Corporate Software Inspector Daemon' installed

• Browse to the below key to ensure it exists:

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Flexera Corporate Software Inspector Daemon

• Double-click on the 'ImagePath' registry value and add -D to the string in the value data, it should appear as below:

"C:\Program Files\Flexera Software\Corporate Software Inspector Daemon\daemon.exe" --service-launch -D

• Click ok to save the registry value, launch Services.msc as administrator and restart the 'Flexera Corporate Software Inspector Daemon' service.

This will now allow the 'Flexera Corporate Software Inspector Daemon' attempt to contact SVM via a direct connection in the first instance rather than the locally configured proxy settings, therefore bypassing the proxy.
