Question:
How to change the Software Repository location to a new path for an Software Repository catalog.
Answer: 
The purpose of software repository is to be shared between multiple users of the same catalog. While trying to migrate a new folder make sure to use a network path, which can be accessed by all the users.

Please follow the below steps to provide a new Software Repository path :

1. Login to Application Manager.
2. Go to Application Catalog>Options>Software Repository>Software Repository location
3. Enter the new Repository location you want and click on OK.(Refer screenshot "Software Repository in Option Server Option.JPG" for more details)

4. Kill the AdminStudio host process and all the windows related to AdminStudio.
5. Now login again and check whether the newly entered location is updated successfully.

Note: Even we can check whether the newly provided Software Repository location has been updated or not by running the SQL query on the database:
select * from cssysSoftRepAttributes

Note: This option is available only for the Software Repository catalogs.
