1. Open a Command Prompt with administrator privileges.
2. Create a UDL test file by running the following command:
   

   > COPY NUL %TEMP%\testoledb.udl

3. C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe "C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Ole DB\oledb32.dll",OpenDSLFile %TEMP%\testoledb.udl

For 32-bit Beacon (versions 25.1.0 and below)

On 64-bit Windows Operating System:

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\rundll32.exe "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\System\Ole DB\oledb32.dll",OpenDSLFile %TEMP%\testoledb.udl

On 32-bit Windows Operating System:

C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe “C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Ole DB\oledb32.dll”,OpenDSLFile %TEMP%\testoledb.udl

For 64-bit Beacon versions 25.2.0 and above

On 64-bit Windows Operating System:

4. Click Next.
   
5. Fill in the Data Source, User name, and Password fields.
