Inventory gathering ndtrack process may crash with error on MacOS if a bundle metadata contains a non-numeric "last modified" field: "libc++abi: terminating due to uncaught exception of type std::invalid_argument: std::stoull: no conversion"

Description

This problem occurs due to mishandling of “last modified” details in MacOS bundle metadata when a non-numeric value is found in the metadata.

ndtrack writes the following message to stderr when this problem occurs:

libc++abi: terminating due to uncaught exception of type std::invalid_argument: std::stoull: no conversion

Logging in tracker.log files leading up to the crash looks like:

Fix status

This issue has been fixed in the following release: 2026 R1.2 / Aug 2026 (Cloud). This issue is planned to be addressed in the following future release: 2026 R2 (On Premises).
