Problem statement
lmadmin installation as a service fails when Jre 16 or newer is used .
Error
The installation of FlexNet Publisher License Server Manager is finished, but some errors occurred during the install. Please see the installation log for details
Reason
lmadmin uses services.jar which internally uses sun classes not supported by Java 16 onwards .lmadmin has a dependency on InstallAnywhere where the issue is reproducible.
NOTE: Kindly use JRE 1.6 until 16 (for OS X: JRE 1.7 until 16) till the problem is resolved.
