Known Issue: Vague red bar error message reported when user with view only rights clicks on buttons on the Data Inputs > Inventory Data page (IOJ-2234051)

Summary

A user who has view only rights can go to the Data Inputs > Inventory Data page and click buttons that would nominally make changes.

When this is done, a red bar error is reported without a specific error message indicating the cause of the problem - that is, the user does not have appropriate rights.

Details

Buttons on the Inventory Data page that a user with view only rights may click include:

  • Delete Connection
  • Make Primary

Fix status

This issue is still open but not currently scheduled to be addressed.
