Summary

not including the new 'dongle' libraries in the build - result in link errors similar to 'Unresolved External Symbols

Symptoms

When attempting to build flex enabled applications using FlexNet Publisher, link errors similar to 'Unresolved External Symbols' are encountered -

Cause

Dongle libraries have not been included in the build.

Resolution

Projects must link to either the dongle library or the dongle stub library, even if there are no plans to include dongle support.
? To include dongle support, link to the lmgr_dongle.lib (Windows x86 and x64) or liblmgr_dongle.a (LSB x86 and x64).
? To omit dongle support, link to the lmgr_dongle_stub.lib (Windows x86 and x64) or liblmgr_dongle_stub.a (LSB x86 and x64).


Additional Information

Dongle support has been removed from the generic library lmgr.lib in order to meet Windows Logo approvals.
