Summary
Receiving "FLEXlm Error:-33 Bad encryption handshake with daemon"
Synopsis
When running an application, the message "FLEXlm Error:-33 Bad encryption handshake with daemon" appears.
Discussion
The FLEXlm Error -33 generally points to a conflict between the ENCRYPTION_SEEDs or LM_SEEDs of two different versions of FlexNet Publisher.
Please check the SEEDs values in the lm_code.h, located in the machine directory, and make sure that both versions of the builds contain the same ENCRYPTION_SEED and LM_SEED values. If not, correct the values and re-build all of the relevant parts of the SDK (i.e. vendor daemon, application and license file).
