Discussion

From the command-line, change directories to the InstallAnywhere home directory (the directory where InstallAnywhere was installed).

On a Windows machine, execute the following command:


Node-locked License:

build -registerNodeLocked <path_of_license_file>

With a license server:

build -ls <port>@<host>


With a Triad server:
build ?ls <port1>@<host1>;<port2>@<host2>;<port3>@<host3>

On a macOS or OS X or Linux-based or Unix-based machine, execute the following command:


Node-locked License:

./build -registerNodeLocked <path_of_license_file>

With a license server:

./build -ls <port>@<host>


With a Triad server:
./build ?ls <port1>@<host1>;<port2>@<host2>;<port3>@<host3>

NOTE: Be sure to substitute the label placeholder <SerialNumber> with a valid product serial number.
