Summary
Set TCP_NODELAY on Unix Systems
Synopsis
This is a simple way to set the TCP_NODELAY setting on UNIX machines.
Discussion
On windows it is easy to set the TCP_NODELAY through the windows registry. On UNIX systems you will need to edit a file that acts like the registry called flexlmrc in the HOME directory to achieve the same result.
To set TCP_NODELAY, please follow these steps from the HOME directory:
- Edit the
flexlmrcfile usingvi .flexlmrc - Add the line
TCP_NODELAY=1to the end of the file. - Save and exit.
- Restart your license server, the
TCP_NODELAYenabled message should appear after a checkout or after a period of time.
