file backup before overwrite during upgrade
Is there a way to save off a backup copy of a file before it gets replaced by the new file during an upgrade?
I'm in a Basic MSI project.

May be you can move this file to a separate feature and decide not to install that feature during upgrade...
Or use MoveFile() to take a backup.
