downgrade doesn't work all the time

downgrade doesn't work all the time. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Basically, some files don't install. It look like "FindRelatedProducts" is failing.

Any ideas on what to look for?

I've figured out that if I use the "repair" button, my installs will be fixed. Is there standard custom action that will just do the "repair"?

There isn't any standard custom action to do this. You could setup a custom action yourself from a command line to execute the msiexe with the repair flags though. I guess in your case you know the product code for the app and so can just specify the repair flag with the product code GUID.

p - only if file is missing

o - if file is missing or an older version is installed (default)

e - if file is missing or an equal or older version is installed

m - all required computer-specific registry entries (default)

s - all existing shortcuts (default)

v - runs from source and recaches local package[/CODE]
