wrong directory-path

Hello,

I have the following question:

My project was converted from an older version of installshield.

When I try to add a new file this file gets a link to

But I want a directory-path like all the other files.

What can I do?

You can find the option to control this behavior in the Tools|Options... dialog on the InstallShield IDE menu. Then select the "Path Variables" tab. Here you can check the option to "Don't recommend path variables...". Alternatively, you can select the option to have InstallShield always display the Path Variable recommendation dialog every time you add new files. You can then decide at that time how you would like your paths defined.
