I have modified the .suite file like described in "Using Styles to Customize the User Interface of a Suite Installation" in section "Using Only One Background for the Header, Body, and Navigation Areas".
I get an offset in the image between header and body
and between body and footer.
The greater the contrast in the picture the stronger the offset is to see.
