When you enable data visibility in Snow Atlas, users must be assigned to organization nodes to view tenant data. If users aren’t assigned, they’ll see “No information available” in most diagnostic views. This can delay troubleshooting and case resolution. Assigning users correctly ensures they have access to the data they need.
Why this matters
You might enable data visibility for compliance or privacy reasons. However, if you don’t assign users to organization nodes:
- They won’t be able to view tenant data.
- Most diagnostic views will return “No information available.”
- Support case resolution may be delayed until visibility is granted.
How to assign users
Use one of the following options to manage data visibility for users who need access.
Option A – Manage data visibility via internal users
Use this method when managing users directly in your tenant.
- Sign in to Snow Atlas.
- Go to Settings > User management > Users.
- Select the user(s) who need access to the view.
- From the Actions menu, select Manage user > Manage data visibility.
- In the Data visibility section, assign the user to the relevant organization nodes (or the root node for full visibility).
- Save your changes.

Option B – Manage data visibility via external access
Use this method when managing access for Support as an external entity.
- Sign in to Snow Atlas.
- Go to Settings > Account > External access.
- Locate Snow Software in the list of external entities.
- Select the three dots > Edit.
- Assign the appropriate organization nodes to Snow Software.
