When configuring the retrieval of Azure Enterprise Agreement billing data, the process may fail with an error about the Billing API being inaccessible. This issue usually relates to the enrollment number or API access key configuration.
Follow these steps to ensure proper configuration:
- Confirm that the Billing API access key is copied correctly into Commander.
- Click Expand key to view the full key.
- Copy all lines of the key.
- Copy the key into a text file before entering it in Commander.
- Verify that there are no leading or trailing spaces.
- Make sure no characters have been altered during copying.
- Ensure the key you are using is associated with the subscription configured for the cloud account.
- Once confirmed, enter the Enrollment Number and the Billing API Access Key into Commander.
- Click the Test button.
- If the correct values are entered and the key is valid, you will receive the response Billing API accessible.
- If the correct values are entered and the key is valid, you will receive the response Billing API accessible.
After completing these steps, Commander should successfully connect and retrieve Azure Enterprise Agreement billing data.
