Error importing AutomationBook in Automation Platform: "Nullable object must have a value"
When importing an AutomationBook the following error is presented:
 
Server request failed: Internal Server Error. Nullable object must have a value.. An error has occurred.

Using developer tools in the browser or viewing the website logs the following error can be observed:

Resolution

  1. Open the automationbook with 7-zip, winrar or any application which can handle zip files.
  2. Extract data.json
  3. Open the json file and find the tag ServiceParameterSetting. This tag contains all the Service parameters and each of them should have a unique ID called MissitoId.
  4. Look through the parameter configuration and look for parameters which are missing a MissitoId.
  5. Add a MissitoId with a GUID as ID. See example below.
  6. Repeat the previous step for all parameters without MissitoId.
  7. Save the json file and add it to the automationbook.
  8. Import the automationbook in Automation Platform.

Cause

This problem appears when exporting from Automation Platform. Sometimes MissitoId is missing from the parameters after an export.
