Introduction
Revenera will be performing technology stack upgrades supporting FlexNet Operations ALM. These upgrades are designed to strengthen the platform's foundation and enable future enhancements.
The FAQs below were authored to help prepare users for the upcoming changes and answer common questions.
#1: How will these changes affect FlexNet Operations ALM?
While no functional changes or integration impacts are expected, some Producer Portal and End User Portal URLs will change as part of the platform modernization effort.
NOTE: The domain/hostname used to access the Producer and End User Portals will not change; however, the path portion of certain portal URLs will be updated. See FAQ #5 for a list of URL paths that will remain unchanged.
Customers should review and update any dependencies on existing portal URLs, including Single Sign-On (SSO) configurations, bookmarked links, automated workflows, and documentation.
#2: When will these changes take effect?
The changes will be rolled out in phases, beginning with FlexNet Operations ALM UAT environments starting in August 2026 and subsequently rolling out to Production environments.
We recommend subscribing to your UAT and Production silos on the Revenera Status Dashboard to receive notifications regarding deployment schedules, maintenance activities, and service updates. You can identify the silo associated with your FlexNet Operations ALM environment by reviewing the footer of your FlexNet Operations Producer Portal.
#3: Will these changes affect FlexNet Operations LLM?
No. The upgrades described in this communication do not apply to FlexNet Operations LLM.
#4: Will these changes affect FlexNet Operations On-Premises?
The communicated upgrades and timelines apply only to FlexNet Operations Cloud ALM at this time.
Similar upgrades are planned for FlexNet Operations On-Premises in the future, and a separate communication with details and timelines will be shared with On-Premises customers at a later date.
#5: Is there a list of all the FlexNet Operations ALM user interface URLs that are affected?
No. We do not have a comprehensive list of all affected URLs. Most Producer Portal and End User Portal URLs will change as part of the platform modernization effort. The following URLs and paths are expected to remain unchanged and do not require any updates:
Producer Portal
URLs / Paths
---
/operations/logon.do
/operations/logoff.do
/operations/changePassword.do
/operations/forgotPassword.do
/operations/secretAnswer.do
/operations/sso.do
/operations/startPage.do
End User Portal
URLs / Paths
---
/operationsportal/logon.do
/operationsportal/logoff.do
/operationsportal/changePassword.do
/operationsportal/forgotPassword.do
/operationsportal/secretAnswer.do
/operationsportal/sso.do
/operationsportal/startPage.do
/operationsportal/showUserLogon.do
/operationsportal/showEntitlementLogon.do
/operationsportal/showActivationIdLogon.do
/operationsportal/autologon.do
/operationsportal/viewAsEndUserlogon.do
/operationsportal/showSelfRegisterUserPage.do
/operationsportal/completeSelfRegistration.do
/operationsportal/resetSelfRegister.do
/operationsportal/profile.do
#6: What happens to existing bookmarked URLs?
Bookmarks for the URLs listed in FAQ #5 will continue to work without modification.
Bookmarks for other Producer Portal and End User Portal pages will need to be updated following the platform modernization changes.
Although the FlexNet Operations ALM Producer and End User Portal hostnames will remain unchanged, many portal URL paths will change. Customers should review and update any bookmarked URLs, documentation, or processes that reference existing portal pages.
#7: How will this affect FlexNet Operations ALM access using Single Sign-On (SSO)?
Customers using Single Sign-On (SSO) to access the Producer Portal or End User Portal, with the portal’s home page (Producer: /operations/startPage.do, End User: /operationsportal/startPage.do) configured as the landing page, are not expected to experience any impact.
Customers that use a page other than the portal home page as the SSO landing page may encounter an HTTP 500 error after authentication. These customers will need to update their SSO configuration to reference the new URL for the target landing page.
#8: Will SOAP or REST APIs endpoints be affected?
No. The URL changes apply only to Producer Portal and End User Portal user interface URLs. SOAP and REST API endpoints will not change, and there are no planned changes to the authentication methods used by these APIs.
#9: Will endpoints used by Cloud License Servers (CLS) or devices be affected?
No. Cloud License Server (CLS) and Device Activation endpoints are not affected by the Producer Portal and End User Portal URL changes.
#10: Will request endpoints used by FlexNet Embedded or FlexNet Publisher SDKs be affected?
No. Endpoints used by FlexNet Embedded and FlexNet Publisher SDKs are not affected by the Producer Portal and End User Portal URL changes.
#11: Will this impact any Harbor repository integration?
No. Harbor repository integrations are not affected by these changes. Registry URLs will remain unchanged.
