This issue is typically caused by incorrect modifications to the Admin or Reporting keystore or truststore passwords. When using the default (bundled) keystores, FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications requires the default passwords:
- Keystore password:
flexnet - Truststore password:
changeit
Before you begin
- These steps apply to Linux servers without a GUI.
- For Linux servers with a GUI or Windows servers:
- Use the
./flexnetsite command for configuration. - Manage services via the Windows Services console (services.msc).
- Always back up your keystore files before making any changes.
- If using custom SSL certificates, ensure that the full SSL configuration process has been correctly implemented.
- Stop services
- Stop both the Admin and Reporting services.
- Terminate any associated Java processes.
- Access the Reporting Server configuration
- Navigate to the Reporting Server installation directory.
- Run:
./flexnet site console
- Reset the keystore and truststore passwords
- From the console, set the passwords back to their default values:
Keystore: flexnet
Truststore: changeit
- Restart the Reporting Server
- Use the following command:
./flexnet start &
- Repeat for the Admin Server
- Perform steps 2–4 in the Admin Server installation directory.
- Verify access
- Launch the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications web UI in your browser:
http://<fully-qualified-domain-name-of-admin-server>:8888
-
- If the issue persists, collect and review the latest logs for further troubleshooting.
