This article explains how to configure App Portal to integrate with Flexera One IT Asset Management (ITAM) without using Flexera Service Gateway. Use these steps to enable integration and access license management features.
1. Remove Flexera Service Gateway entry
- Navigate to Site Management > Admin > Settings > Flexera Integration in App Portal.
- Delete the entry for Flexera Service Gateway Server Name.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
2. Update App Portal database settings
- Access the App Portal database.
- Execute the following SQL query to show endpoint URLs:
update dbo.WD_AppSettings
set Value = 'True'
where KeyName = 'ShowFSGEndPoints'
3. Restart Internet Information Services (IIS) services
- Open Command Prompt.
- Run the command
iisreset.
4. Access endpoint URLs in Flexera Integration
- Restart your browser and return to Flexera Integration in App Portal.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page to view the exposed endpoint URLs.
5. Configure FlexNet Manager Suite service URL
- Enter the FlexNet Manager Suite service URL using the format:
https://slo.app.flexera.com/ManageSoftServices/ComplianceAPIService/ComplianceAPIService.asmx?orgid=YOUR_ORG_ID
- Replace
YOUR_ORG_IDwith your actual organization ID.
Other endpoint URLs do not require configuration.
6. Update ITAM settings with IAM endpoint and refresh token
- In ITAM Settings, enter the IAM endpoint:
- Generate a refresh token in Flexera One and add it to the settings.
7. Validate integration
- Confirm that My Apps is available under Compliance Management in App Portal.
- Click My Apps to open the License Reclamation Policies view if available.
- Click Search Flexera ID to display a list of software titles and their Flexera IDs, sourced directly from the Application Recognition Library (ARL) in Flexera One ITAM.
NOTE: My Apps will only be available if Flexera One ITAM is successfully integrated with App Broker.
