What is the ComplianceAPIService.asmx SOAP web API and how does it relate to the Flexera Service Gateway?

FlexNet Manager Suite and Flexera One IT Asset Management have an internal SOAP API that is accessed through the endpoint URI /ManageSoftServices/ComplianceAPIService/ComplianceAPIService.asmx.

The Flexera Service Gateway (FSG) and several other Flexera products, such as App Portal and AdminStudio, use this API to extract various types of data from FlexNet Manager Suite and Flexera One IT Asset Management.

This API is not externally documented, nor is it supported or intended to be used for any other purpose.
