Since Power BI does not include a built-in heatmap visual, this can limit options for custom reports. A treemap visual provides a practical alternative for displaying hierarchical and part-to-whole relationships.
This article explains how to create and configure a treemap visual as an alternative to a heatmap in Power BI custom reports.

Go to IT Visiblity > Custom reports > Create Reports > Select Software Reports. In the Visualizations pane, select Treemap to add it to your report canvas.

Assign fields to the treemap. For example:

Drag Manufacturer to the Group field well.
