A warning message like the following appears in the Oracle Order Management option service log:
[WRN] (SnowSoftware.OracleManagementOption.Middleware.Handlers.TransferMiddlewareScanDataHandler) TenantID=1, Long running operation was cancelled
SnowSoftware.OracleManagementOption.Core.Exceptions.LongRunningTaskTimeoutException: Long running task TransferScanMiddlewareInstallationsV2Batching was canceled after running for 3708.2182893 seconds.
In Snow License Manager 9.33, after one hour, long-running tasks are terminated and display the warning log message. If one hour is not enough time, you can add more time by updating the omo appsettings.json file:
Example to increase the max duration to one and a half hours:

Notes:
- Following any change to the
appsettings.jsonfile, the respective service must be restarted in Windows to allow the change to take effect. - Check the Oracle service log the next day to ensure your update was sufficient to allow the process to complete. If not, add more time.
In Snow License Manager 9.33, the OMO service was enhanced to include more detailed information about certain steps of the OMO process that consume excessive time to complete. For more details see Snow License Manager 9.33 Release Notes.
