• Parameter: -si / -scantime_interval
• Value: <minutes> Set a random range to delay running software inspection. 0 means no random range, or 1-120 minutes.

An example command would look like this:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Flexera Software\Corporate Software Inspector Agent\csia.exe" --service-launch -si 120

To verify there is a set scan interval, enable agent debug logging and check for the following trigger:

• Trigger: ScanTimeInterval

For 60 minutes, you would see the value 3600 (seconds).

You can also change the setting post-installation:

1. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Flexera Corporate Software Inspector Agent
2. Modify the ImagePath value:
   • From: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Flexera Software\Corporate Software Inspector Agent\csia.exe" --service-launch
   • To: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Flexera Software\Corporate Software Inspector Agent\csia.exe" --service-launch -si 120

If you have any other parameters, just add the -si 120 after the --service-launch. For example:

ImagePath - "C:\Program Files (x86)\Flexera Software\Corporate Software Inspector Agent\csia.exe" --service-launch -si 120 -d C:\temp\svmscan.log -v -v

The Software Vulnerability Manager server will receive staggered scan results.
