Stream Flexera Elastigroup and Ocean logs to Amazon S3 for use with Elasticsearch

Title

You can stream Elastigroup and Ocean logs to an Amazon S3 bucket. This is useful when you want Elasticsearch and Kibana to collect, index, and visualize your Flexera logs. After the logs reach S3, you can configure Elasticsearch ingestion pipelines to read from the bucket.

Instructions

Open your Elastigroup or Ocean configuration.

Add the following block to your JSON to enable log export to S3:

  "export": {
    "s3": {
      "id": "example-id"
    }
  }
}

Replace "example-id" with the identifier for the S3 integration you want to use.
Save your changes.
In Elasticsearch and Kibana, configure your log ingestion pipeline to pull logs from the S3 bucket.

Outcome

Your Elastigroup or Ocean logs stream into an S3 bucket. Elasticsearch and Kibana can then read the logs from S3 for analysis, visualization, and alerting.
