If you use a user exclusion such as “%[TestUser1]%”, each individual character will be excluded. This means any user exclusion containing the letters, “T”, “E”, “S”, “U”, “R”, or “1” will be excluded from appearing in the SAM Core user list.

The correct pattern to exclude the specific user “TestUser1” is “%TestUser1%”. This ensures only that exact username is excluded.

NOTE: After applying a user exclusion, any existing users that match the criteria will remain visible unless deleted manually or removed through quarantine management based on your configured settings.

Using the correct exclusion pattern prevents unintended exclusions and ensures only targeted usernames are filtered out.
