Ensure the required tools are installed

1. On a Windows Server (such as the Commander application server), Get-ADUser is typically available by default.
2. On Windows 10 workstations, you may need to install RSAT tools:
   • Go to Settings > Apps & features, then click Optional features.
   • Search for “RSAT” and install RSAT: Active Directory Domain Services and Lightweight Directory Services Tools.
     
     

Retrieve account properties using PowerShell

1. Launch PowerShell as an Administrator.
2. Run the following command:

   Get-ADUser -Server address -Credential queryingaccount -Identity account -Properties * > c:\accountproperties.txt

   Replace the placeholders as follows:
   • address: Host name of the Active Directory server to query.
   • queryingaccount: Username for connecting to the AD server (omit if currently logged into an account with query permissions; if included, you will be prompted for a password).
   • account: The username of the account whose properties you want to retrieve.
   • c:\accountproperties.txt: The path to the output file where properties will be stored. The file does not need to exist beforehand.

After execution

• The specified file will be created containing all properties for the account.
• Share the file with Flexera Support as part of your support case.
