The default Java Virtual Machine (JVM) memory limit configured for the web server in Snow Commander is 4096 megabytes. This configuration is typically appropriate for Commander and should only be changed if instructed by Flexera technical support.
- Log in to the Snow Software Commander application server as an administrator.
- Using Windows Explorer, launch
<INSTALL_DIRECTORY>\Embotics\Commander\tomcat\bin\vlmw.exe. - Update the Maximum memory pool value.
- Click OK.
- Restart the Commander Windows service.
Additional information
- These changes do not persist after upgrades. If you have previously modified these settings and have since upgraded Commander, you will need to repeat the process.
- Before performing any changes on a production system, take a snapshot of the system as recommended by Flexera.
