“Copy your platform-specific VCG into the <ops_install_dir>/custom/<platform>/bin directory, where <platform> corresponds to the operating system on which FlexNet Operations is running: i86_n3 (Windows), i86_re3 (Linux), or sun4_u48 (Solaris)."

This guidance is valid for installations on x86 systems. However, for installations on 64-bit Windows machines, the correct directory path should be:
<ops_install_dir>/custom/x64_n6/bin

Failing to use the x64_n6/bin directory will result in the VCG not being deployed correctly.
