This article explains why consumption is not displayed per device for IBM Resource Value Unit (RVU) licenses in FlexNet Manager Suite.
The "Consumed" and "Calculated consumption" values in the Consumption tab display as "0", while "Calculated consumption" in the Compliance tab shows a non-zero value.
The consumption for an IBM RVU license is calculated from a manually entered value for the Resource value in the Identification tab. This value is then applied to the RVU points rule set to calculate total consumption. Since the system uses a single manually entered value rather than individual device data, FlexNet Manager Suite cannot distribute the consumption across devices. Therefore, the Consumption tab does not show consumption per device. This is expected behavior.
