Discussion

To compress all files into a single MSI package, you must build a compressed release but choose not to include a Setup.exe. The steps to accomplish this will vary depending on which product is being used.
In versions of InstallShield 2009 and higher, such a release can be built from the Project Assistant | Build Installation view by checking the Single MSI Package option.

Additional Information

You can also use the "Optimize size" option, which will further compress the size of the single .msi.
