Customer can get LOG Files similar to this:

13:45:41 (lmgrd) Using Task Manager, stop MWALI and run lmreread

13:45:41 (lmgrd) This error probably results from:
13:45:41 (lmgrd) 1. Another copy of the license server manager (lmgrd) is running.
13:45:41 (lmgrd) 2. Another copy of the vendor daemon is running.
13:45:41 (lmgrd) 3. The locking mechanism(s) were removed by an
13:45:41 (lmgrd) outside program.
13:45:41 (lmgrd)

Workaround

Change the License and Vendor Daemon Location from C:\FLEXlm\... to C:\Program File\FLEXlm or any other location.
 
 
That should resolve the issue.
 
DAEMON MWALI "C:\FlexLM\MWALI\licenses\license_utilities\MWALI" PORT=XXXX
 
Please try to change the vendor daemon location as follows:
 
DAEMON MWALI "C:\Program Files\FlexLM\MWALI\licenses\license_utilities\MWALI" PORT=XXXX
 
NOTE: The main cause of this issue is that if there is a folder with the Vendor Daemon name under C:\FLEXlm\ . this causes issues when the license server starts up. Need to change the folder name under C:\FLEXlm\ or change the location of folder named as Vendor Daemon from FLEXlm to somewhere else.
