Synopsis

A Verbose MSI installation log will typically show the values of all the properties that are involved as a part of the install. This may be undesirable in some cases as some of these properties may contain sensitive information that should not be shown.

Discussion

Windows Installer has a property called MsiHiddenProperties that will hide the value of any property that is listed as its value from the log. The MsiHiddenProperties property can contain multiple properties and is delimited by the semicolon symbol.
