After Updating to IS 2015 SP1, Certain Projects Occasionally Crash During Build. The crash seem to always occur after the following lines in the log:

Resolution

This issue has been submitted as a bug and is pending review from our Engineering team. The issue is being tracked under issue #IOJ-1740162.

Engineering has released a hotfix that resolves this issue. In order to apply the hotfix, please do the following steps:

Close InstallShield 2015 SP1.
Download the hotfix attached.
Go to the InstallShield 2015 System folder. By default, this is in <PROGRAMFILES>InstallShield\2015\System
Find MediaBuild40.dll and rename to MediaBuild40.dll.bak
Extract the MediaBuild40.dll from the zip file to this location.
Restart InstallShield and build.

This hotfix is included in InstallShield 2015 Service Pack 2.
